VIXENBLOOM

Breathe. One. Two. Three. And Out. Don't forget to repeat. A timid creature, beautiful and reserved. Vixenbloom is a cat you might not notice. She's good at hiding and staying out of sight. She prefers this even. Yet if you are to make contact, you'll be surprised to find that Vixenbloom has a lashing tongue that seems ill-fitting to a cat who otherwise seems innocent and doll-like. Vixenbloom is mostly this way defensively, since she doesn't fare too well when put in stressful situations, especially with eyes on her. It's unfortunate she is this way, because she is talented, a strong and swift foe on the battlefield and a deadly huntress that manages to bring back kills even in the worst of weather. She is capable physically in many ways, but is held back mentally. And so, Vixenbloom makes a fine warrior left to herself mostly. You'll rarely find her on patrols that require her to actively participate with others, and training apprentices would be iffy at best. You might ask why? Has she always been this way? Is there a point she could change? All good questions. The why is simple; it's just how she is. And furthermore, yes, she's been this way most of her life. Change? Perhaps. Yet that all comes down to her. So far life is unchallenged. She does her duties and has a nest to sleep in. She spends her free time exploring on her own. Loneliness so far has yet to bother her. What reason would she have to work on that part of herself? That is the ultimate question.

One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it’s worth watching. That’s the life ambition of Tigerstorm. He doesn’t want a boring existence, he wants one full of excitement and accomplishment. Some may say he’s overly bold and way too reckless but he never sees it that way. He can just seem to tell if he could pull off a particular feat. If he doesn’t think he can, he just might try anyway. Tigerstorm is a handsome orange tabby with black stripes. He has a white chest and belly. His pale green eyes only add to his already good looks. Someday he hopes to find the right she cat who will make him complete.

ROOKBRIAR

A stocky dark grey tom with pale green eyes. Hailing from a long line of displaced and migrant cats, Rookbriar just wants a home and a strong family unit of his own. It is his one true desire, and he would do most anything to attain it. A hopeless romantic, he is easily charmed and holds a positive view of pretty much any cat he runs across. He is friendly, kind, and warm to all, with a harmless but endearing sense of humor that amuses rather than abuses. Despite his youth, Rookbriar is fatherly and responsible, quick to help anyone who needs him and offer advice when he can. He is dependable, hardworking, and protective, willing to sacrifice his life for those he perceives to be in his care, which is pretty much everyone. While he is good-natured and true, he can be oblivious and easily fooled, choosing to ignore or overlook the unsavory parts of others, especially those dearest to him. He prefers not to rock the boat as much as possible and often refrains from speaking up, sometimes to the detriment of himself or, unfortunately, other cats. Maintaining peace is of utmost importance to him, even if it means hiding the truth or pressuring (i.e. guilting) others to remain quiet about transgressions against them. Not particularly self-reflective, Rookbriar perceives himself as a good cat and doesn't understand when some felines -- including his own children -- hold resentment against him for his methods. In this way he can be stubborn, refusing to adjust his moral framework because he believes what he does is for the greater good, failing to take into consideration how it could impact the individual.

SCATTEREDMIND

Scatteredmind is a battered tabby tom with half a missing ear and one damaged eye. His one good eye is a light brown that has dulled and seems lost to the void. A tom with an unexplained history, he had lost his mind before he had even joined Cinderclan, and spends the day muttering to himself while he stares out at the volcano that Cinderclan has made their home. When others talk to him Scatteredmind will smile, seemingly enjoying the chance at a conversation, but is often unable to hold down a normal conversation and will change the conversation to unrelated subjects. Others have the tendency of avoiding Scatteredmind because of his bizarre habits, but if it does bother Scatteredmind he doesn't really show it.

TINYKIT | wish

Tinywish an abnormally small she-cat with startling sapphire eyes. She has a brown and white splotched pelt with oversized pointy ears. She seems to have a condition that makes it difficult for her to breathe when she overexerts herself or becomes overly upset, but she is unsure what causes her conditions and has had this chronic problem for as long as she can remember. As a result Tinywish was shielded from the outside world for the first half of her kithood by her mother, living in a rabbit den underground, until the day her mother didn't return from her daily hunting trip. This led to Tinywish leaving the safety of the den to find her mother, but eventually becoming lost due to her poor attention span and accidentally wandering into Cinderclan territory. Tinywish has a big personality and a lot of energy. She has a difficult time staying focused and is easily distracted by things that would fall into the background for most cats. She views herself as strong and unbeatable, but due to her small stature and chronic condition she can easily be overpowered. That's if they can catch her first, of course! Her small size provides her with the ability to easily dodge and quickly maneuver without exerting too much energy. Tinywish has big dreams of changing the world while she is in it, and of course, a simple dream of finding her mother. For now though, she will enjoy the simple pleasures that Cinderclan has to offer.

PYROPAW | maniac

A dark gray, almost black at first glance, she-cat with yellow eyes that burn just as fiercely as the fire that disfigured her. Pyromaniac has patches of missing fur that exposes scorched raw skin and is missing most of her ears with obvious signs they were singed off. Don't let her fool you though, she can still hear perfectly fine even without the tops of her ears! Pyromaniac is a former kittypet turned wild after she accidentally caused the deaths of her owners and destruction of her home by knocking over a burning candle. When her owner placed the candle onto the kitchen table Pyromaniac's curiosity got the better of her. At first she just stared at the flickering flame that created a soft glow in the normally dark room. Then she inched closer, her nose barely hovering next to the wick, and felt the fire warm the tip of her nose. What came next is up for debates on whether it was an accident or intentional. Pyromaniac pawed the candle into the floor, and watched with a twisted look of joy as the flame caught the wooden kitchen chair on fire. The flames rapidly spread throughout the house in seconds. At first the kitten was delighted to see the brilliant glow light the entire house and the tall flames warm her very soul, but the delight was short lived as thick heavy smoke billowed around her and caused a burning sensation to ripple through her chest. Pyromaniac attempted to run to her owner's bedroom, only to see some furniture in the hallway had toppled over and trapped her owners inside the bedroom. As the fire and smoke engulfed her, Pyromaniac did the only thing she knew how to do, and hid underneath something. As fire destroyed her home and burned her body, she awakened to discover two-legs tirelessly working on her and treating her wounds. Once the broken pieces were put together Pyromaniac stayed huddled in her metal prison that the two-legs had put her in for weeks until eventually a new family attempted to adopt her. No longer seeing herself worthy to be a pet, Pyromaniac slipped out of the two-legs grasp, and disappeared into the surrounding foliage. She traveled for moons before eventually coming across Cinderclan and making the clan her new home. The fiery landscape reminding Pyromaniac of the short lived joy she felt when everything burned down around her. Pyromaniac has poor fighting capabilities and chronic issues due to the effects of the fire, but she is aware of these limitations and attempts to accommodate them with her intelligence and grace. She is a fast learner and views herself as more of a support to her clan versus someone to be on the front lines. She likes to tinker with herbs to create new mixtures to treat chronic conditions and has plenty of ideas on how to make the clan a better place to live, but often her ideas are unrealistic or her mixture of herbs unsafe to try on live patients. Pyromaniac is a she-cat with an odd personality that diverges from intense mania to weird periods of lacking emotions. Usually though Pyromaniac loves to go on adventures and is solicitous in personality. She loves to find the positives in negative situations and adores making new friends or making other cats in the clan feel important. She is quick to praise other people and is eager to try new things if she is invited to participate. Sometimes Pyromaniac's high energy personality can cause reckless behaviors and unrealistic self-confidence, but she can typically be talked down by others unless she is absolutely fixated on whatever it is she is trying to do. Despite all she has been through due to the fire she started, Pyromaniac still has an eerie fascination with fire and will sometimes find ways to start small fires if given a chance to be on her own. This causes those who are close to her concern about leaving her on her own.

SHEEPWOOL

A gray and white selkirk rex with light brown eyes. Her fur is unnaturally curl and she spends an abnormal amount of time grooming it throughout the day. Born to a family with high expectations for their children, Sheepwool has put a lot of work into living up to those expectations and becoming something that her family can be proud of. Even after she had left the nest and moved on to forge her own life, she carried those expectations with her and continues to place pressure on herself to be flawless. She is a bit prissy and enjoys looking nice, which makes it difficult at times as sometimes she will get covered in mud or dirt when out on patrol. She tends to complain about the duties she has to complete because she doesn't want to ruin her coat and natural beauty. Due to her attitude about wanting to remain perfect, many tend to view Sheepwool as stuck up and a bit of a diva. It is not unnatural for Sheepwool to lose her patience and snap at others should they ruin her effort of remaining perfect. Under it all though Sheepwool longs for something different and is tired of all the effort she puts into the facade she has created. She wants the chance of being wild, free, and her authentic self, but her entire life has been dedicated to creating this image of perfection, and how could she get rid of it now?

VENUSRIFT

Named after Batflower's childhood friend, Venuskit. An orange and white tom with slight tabby markings and amber eyes. Though Pumpkinspice didn’t know what Batflower’s friend looked like, he had spoken about him so often that Pumpkinspice felt it right to honor him. Venuskit seems to have inherited his mother’s bottomless stomach, although he is far smarter in what he eats (aka, actual food). As he got older he inherited his father’s passion for flowers but not in the same ways as his siblings. He likes to use herbs to spice up his food after he heard the hairless cat known as Sunshine speak about a Twoleg Chef who used to cook him food. While Venusrift has no idea what a chef is he’s ran with the idea and experiments with whatever he thinks tastes good.
