snow fell gently from the grey sky, as cats walked slowly through the cold, occasionally shaking thin layers of white off their pelts. A tall silver she cat with a plump belly padded on with the rest, her steps weary as her extra weight made her sink slightly. When another called to take a break, Radiantcosmo flopped down where she stood, soft powdery snow puffing out around her. "it's about time." she sighed, not knowing what was worse, her hunger, her exhaustion, or the fact that her mate never got a chance to try and find a better home.
With orange eyes she glanced around as others settled to rest their paws, some cats offering to hunt, and others offering to help find shelter. Oh how she wished she could help, but her fear of giving birth away from everyone outweighed her hunger. Laying her head on her paws she decided it would be best to rest for a minute before joining the others who where finding shelter.

A brown ball of fur came trotting over with a warm smile on her maw, "Radiantcosmo, correct?" she chimed. Tsunamibeach had been making her rounds in the past moon or so. She did not care about any old borders and alliances that once separated them all. She was a friend to all, and right now they all needed one another more the ever. While the group was slowing down to find a place to rest she had taken her chance to slip away and do a little bit of hunting herself. She hadn't been gone long, so it wasn't a whole lot - but right now anything is something. Mind you, she was going to make sure the queens were fed first, after all they were not making the easy journey here, there was so much more baring down on them. Not to mention they were the future hopes of the clans!

Lifting her head to the sound of her name she mewed "yes, that would be me!" radiantcosmo gave her a tired smile. " you are-" she thought for a moment. She used to be so good with names, it must be pregnancy brain. "Tsunamibeach?" unsure of her answer. Back before the clans fell apart, she used to know the name of every cat that was in her clan. down the the newest born kit. "are your ears just as cold?" she mewed light heartedly pushing away the thought.

There was a small gleam that reached her eyes as the other recalled her name. She was hopeful it was in a positive light that she was remembered, if not she might be better off not knowing. The others question brought attention to the tips of her own ears that were surely just as cold as the rest of them, and she managed a sheepish chuckle. "I suppose you could say that.. I try not to think about it for too long though." she admitted. None of them were fond of their current living conditions, but hopefully the hardships would come to an end soon. Trotting over to close the distance she set down two mice, "I managed to find a little something, I think you should take one."

Radiantcosmo's mouth watered as she looked at the prey, "i could do with a bite." she mewed. Glancing around it seemed other cats where doing well enough, she felt guilty for wanting the mouse, even though she was probably one of the cats who needed it most right now. "thank you, i hope it wasn't to hard to find. How is the hunting out there right now?"

Without thinking twice, Tsunamibeach nabbed one of the mice and nudged it towards the queen with a friendly smile. "If you know where to look it's not that bad! Definitely easier when the prey is bathing in the sun and plump though!" She chimed, keeping her tone light. She knew the Queens and Elders would feel like they weren't helping, so she wouldn't burden any of them with the struggles they were facing. They needed their energy and she would make sure that they got it. "Eat up before it get's too cold. I'm sure your little ones will thank you for it!"
