Welcome to Dawn & Dusk! If you're just getting started here on this site, this guide will help provide all the information you will need. Before you get started on joining a clan, it's important to familiarize yourself with the rules of the site and the clans. Below are the links to threads that you will find helpful.

Now that you have an understanding of the site, you can make your first character. It's important to note that on Dawn & Dusk, there is no character limit. Users are allowed to have as many cats as they feel comfortable using, although specific positions are limited in how many you can hold. For example, one person is not allowed to have more that a single leadership position. Some roleplay positions may also have their own limit, as well.
[break][break]
There are currently 3 Clans to choose from, which you can read about in the Clan guide linked above. A specific Clan may suit you or your character more than others. You will be able to join one by navigating to their Joining Thread, which you can find on the Clan's forum or linked in the Clan Guide. The first post in every joining thread contains useful information. Joining threads will require you to post your cat's biography to it. These bios can range in length from a couple of sentences to a few paragraphs, but some clans may request for it to be a certain length so be sure to check beforehand. You can either write these bios, or see if there are any pre-made cats available on The Adoption Center.
[break][break]
To write a bio, you will want to describe your cat as best as you can. What do they look like? Are they quiet and kind, or outgoing and passionate? Do they enjoy playing with kits, or do they prefer a quiet nap under a tree? Use as much detail as you would like. You could move on to their history as well. Do they have family? If so, are they also in the Clan or are they elsewhere? Where did your cat originally come from? You can include any of the above or none of it; feel free to move and tweak things around as you see fit.
[break][break]
All roleplays are done in Third Person. Try to be descriptive enough in your post to help others know what is going on. There is no minimum word count, so a post can be as long or as short as it needs to be as long as you feel that you have given your roleplay partner(s) something to work with.
[break][break]
Roleplay threads may be posted on Clan boards or on a neutral ground to allow other Clan cats to reply.
